We are committed to processing all purchases you make. However, in the event of force majeure or circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from processing your order after confirmation, we will contact you to provide information about substitute products of equal or superior quality and value if you choose to cover the cost difference or to process a refund for the amount paid using the same payment method.

Our products come with a quality guarantee. If the product you purchased has any defects, you may validate the guarantee by providing photographic evidence showing the item and the defect, along with proof of purchase, to online@tequilatau.com Once your request is received, the Tequila TAU team will contact you within 15 business days to communicate the resolution regarding your guarantee claim.

PURCHASES AND PAYMENTS
To make a purchase, it may be necessary to create an account or fill out a form where we will obtain your personal data and payment method. You will need to follow the online purchase procedure by adding the desired products to your cart, specifying the quantities and characteristics of the products, and modifying your order at any time before payment. Once you wish to proceed with the purchase, you will need to complete the required fields and verify the provided information. You will then select a payment method and finally click the “Authorize Payment” button, thereby expressly consenting to your purchase being charged once your order is handed over to the courier service for delivery. You confirm that the card or payment method used is owned by you or that you are the legitimate holder of the payment method. Payment methods available on the website include cash payments through authorized establishments, OXXO PAGO, PayPal, SPEI, STRIPE and Credit and Debit cards.

Payments made with credit or debit cards through the website will be secure, and your data will be encrypted. Approval of purchases made using these methods is subject to the issuing bank’s authorization. If the bank does not authorize the payment, the purchase will not be formalized. Any questions or concerns should be directed to the respective financial institution.

DELIVERY
The delivery of products purchased through our website will depend on the type and quantity of products purchased, their customization, the recipient’s address, and the shipping method selected. The delivery time will be calculated in business days and will be communicated to you during the purchase process.

Despite the estimated delivery time, there may be delays due to circumstances beyond Tequila TAU’s control, such as courier issues, access to the delivery area, or force majeure events. If the delivery time is delayed, we will notify you and offer the option to set a new delivery date or cancel your order, with a full refund of the amount paid for the selected items.

Shipping costs may apply to courier deliveries, which will be clearly communicated to you during the purchase process and before payment. When your order is assigned a tracking number, you will be notified via email, and the information will be updated on our website, where you can track the status of your order. If your order includes multiple items, they may be delivered separately under different tracking numbers.

Orders will be shipped to the address you provided when creating your account or entering purchase details. Shipping notifications will be sent to the email address you provided. Therefore, it is essential that this information is correct, current, and accurate. For electronic or virtual products, they will be sent via email or downloaded directly from our website.

Delivery will be considered complete when you, an authorized third party, or a recipient at the address provided, physically receives the products, which will be confirmed by a signature or, in its absence, by the courier service’s confirmation of receipt at the agreed delivery address.

If the delivery of your order is impossible for the contracted courier service, the order will be returned to our warehouse. You will be notified by email, and we will provide instructions on how to collect your order or request a new shipment to a viable address. If 15 business days pass without successful delivery, we will assume that you wish to cancel the purchase, and your order will be canceled. A refund of the amount paid will be processed within 30 business days following the cancellation.

If the product is returned due to reasons not attributable to Tequila TAU, we reserve the right to withhold the shipping costs incurred.

You should check the contents of your package when it is delivered. If the package or product is visibly damaged, please notify the courier immediately and inform our Customer Service team via email at online@tequilatau.com

We are not responsible for products whose delivery was hindered by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS, AND REFUNDS

You have the right to revoke your consent to purchase items made on our website in accordance with the time frame established by the Federal Consumer Protection Law. This revocation does not require justification. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify Importadora y Exportadora MAVE, S.A. de C.V., commercially known as Tequila TAU, by sending an email to online@tequilatau.com In your notification, provide a clear statement indicating your decision to withdraw from the purchase, including purchase details, order number, postal guide (if applicable), and buyer information.

The right to withdraw does not apply to personalized items, items that have been used or handled by you or a third party after delivery, items where labels, seals, stamps, and/or caps have been removed following delivery. Your right to withdraw only applies to items not yet delivered or that are returned in the same condition in which they were received.

If you withdraw from your purchase and the item is already in the process of being delivered by postal service, please do not accept it upon arrival. If you have already received it, return the item with its seals intact, in its original packaging, and with all attached documents. Use the same packaging in which it was received, including the purchase receipt.

Once the product has been returned and received in our warehouse, its condition will be assessed to verify it was returned in the same condition it was sent. Within 15 business days of receiving the returned product, we will notify you if you qualify for a refund. If applicable, the refund will be processed using the same payment method you used for the purchase, within 30 business days from the date we confirm eligibility for the refund via email.

WITHDRAWAL DUE TO PRODUCT DEFECTS

Upon receipt of the products, if within 5 business days you believe an item purchased on our website does not match its description or is defective, please send photographic evidence showing the item and the defect along with the purchase receipt to online@tequilatau.com Once we receive your request, the Tequila TAU team will review it and contact you within 15 business days to inform you of the resolution, which may result in either a replacement or a refund to the original payment method used for the purchase.

If a return is necessary, it will be carried out as per Section 8 of this document. The return should be made as soon as possible and no later than 5 business days from when you receive the product. In this case, the return will be at no additional cost to you. Any refund will be processed as per the terms outlined in Section 8 of this contract. To qualify for a defect-based withdrawal, the product must not have been handled.

Our product descriptions accurately reflect the qualities of each item. Our products meet high standardized quality levels; variations in product batches, such as color, packaging texture, or minor variations, are not considered defects or grounds for a claim of non-compliance with your order.

Product returns will not be accepted if the seal covering the cap and neck of the bottle has been removed, altered, or destroyed.

INVOICING

You must submit an invoice request within 24 hours of purchase. Invoice requests outside this time frame or for purchases made in prior months will not be processed.

When requesting an invoice, please provide the following tax information:

Full Name or Company Name
RFC (Mexican Tax ID) with Homoclave
Full Fiscal Address, including street, neighborhood, municipality, state, and postal code
Payment Method (cash, electronic transfers, personal checks, debit, credit, or service cards, or authorized electronic wallets)
Indicate at least the last 4 digits of your payment account
Email address for receiving the invoice

Once the corresponding invoice has been issued, it cannot be re-issued or subsequently modified.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The distinctive signs under the Tequila TAU name, designs, slogans, domain names, trade names, photographs, and any other content displayed on the website are the property of, or duly licensed to, Importadora y Exportadora MAVE, S.A. de C.V. They are protected in Mexico and abroad by international treaties and applicable legislation, prohibiting you from using, modifying, or copying any content on https://tequilatau.com/ or https://en.tequilatau.com/ in any way.

Tequila TAU may transfer, encumber, subcontract the terms of this contract, or transfer the rights and obligations arising from it at any time during the term of the contract without affecting your acquired rights.

FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for failure or delay in fulfilling obligations under this contract or through our website in the event of occurrences beyond our control. The obligations we assume on your behalf, including purchases, promotions, contests, etc., will be suspended during the Force Majeure event, and we reserve the right to extend deadlines to fulfill our obligations by the same time as the event persists.

LEGAL

Our failure to require compliance with your obligations under this agreement does not constitute a waiver of our right to take action, nor does it relieve you from complying with those obligations. If any specific part of this document is declared null by a final judgment from a competent authority, the remaining terms and conditions will remain in force. The only action available to the other party will be for breach of contract per the terms herein. Any dispute arising from or related to the use of our website will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply based on current or future domicile.
